We are more than 2.3 billion, compared to 1.6 billion Muslims, nearly a billion Hindus and less than five hundred million Buddhists. 137 million are atheists, and their number, as already mentioned, declining steadily.
The largest denomination of Christians are Catholics: 1.160 million. Protestants is 426 million, 171 million Orthodox, 87 million Anglicans. 378 million are members of independent churches and 35 million are marginal so-called Christians of questionable Trinitarian theology.
